Still, Fuuka finds it impossible to tear himself away from this boy, two years his junior and yet closer to his heart than anyone else has ever been. And I do like the artwork. However, besides the art there isn't much at all. Jun’s characterization is a bit too hyper though. While it’s fun to see so many facial expressions he makes it also gets a bit dizzying.
Also, I don’t think Aoba-sensei that clearly thought out Fuu’s family situation from the get go and decided upon it as the story progress; which is perfectly fine. I don’t think this is a demerit at all, but it’s not tied together at all. Similarly, there are other plot points that seem forcefully inserted to justify the narrative; such as Fuu telling Jun that he would like to be the bottom, when we already have clear indication from the second chapter that Fuu will be the bottom.
It’s just retrospective justification. One the things that I loved the most were those little post scripts, those vignette drawings, at the end. They are absolutely beautiful. They make my heart flutter. But like, are we not going to talk about how Jun sexually harasses Fuu at all? And, twice at that?
Is it going to be recast and imagined as something really romantic and sexy as it is buried under all the amazing fluff? I hope not.I understand that sexual harassment is quite a murky filed for some and extremely clear cut for others depending on the case. However, a few universal rules also hold out; ask before touching, wait for an answer, and a no actually does mean no. Don’t go feeling people up. If they say stop then you will stop.Kinjirareta Ano Natsu; a BIG NO; “If you are going to apologize then might as well not have done it”—my exact sentiments. This debut work is just plain subpar - there's no point beating around the bush lol. It's literally filled with cheesy cliches, bland characters, and terrible execution.

Don't even get me started on all the assaults being treated as romantic advancement and such. In other words, typical rookie habits.
Furthermore, her stories still severely lack cohesion in the transitions from one scene to another as well as in the nuances of the dialogues. The pacing is very awkward due to these sudden jumps and changes in atmosphere. And the art style is also not my favourite, even if I could appreciate a few of its qualities.
